They were created as an alternative to traditional metal dental fillings (amalgam), colored to look like a natural tooth. They are very strong, durable, and make for a very natural looking smile.

The filling hardens through a photo-polymerisation effect. In this case the material is exposured to a special blue light, this causes the hardening of the material. During the formation of the cavity, in contrast with the methods before,  a minimal amount of good tooth tissues must be extracted in order to gain a perfect set-up for the filling. We can even replace your old amalgam fillings with composite/white ones.
